(Filed Under Fashion News). Forum Novelties Inc, a leader in Halloween apparel and novelty gifts, has hired Jeremy Friedman as their new sales representative. Jeremy was officially hired on Wednesday, November 19, and started as an employee on Monday, November 24.
Friedman will be handling sales in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, for Forum's costume and novelty items. His job responsibilities will include servicing existing clients and opening new accounts.
Most recently, Friedman was an independent sales representative who worked with several costume apparel, novelty gifts, and lingerie apparel manufacturers. Those manufacturers included Be Wicked Costumes, Fantasy Lingerie, and Coquette International.
Friedman decided to switch from independent work to full time employment when the economic situation grew increasingly shaky, causing many companies to "tighten their belts" over the summer. He believes that his experience as an independent sales representative helped him develop the skills necessary to be a successful employee at Forum Novelties. With the support of large, successful corporation like Forum he "will be able to ascend to the next level of success".
"Everybody I've been exposed to in this industry has been a tremendous help to my success, but it was a challenge supporting expenses in a bear market. With the support of Forum Novelties I will be able to travel more and really spread myself around comfortably."
Rob Jameson at Xpressions had nothing but good things to say about his experience working with Friedman.
"He was always very helpful and always let me know when the backorders were in. He went above and beyond his call of duty," Jameson said.
Friedman has a college background in graphic design/fine arts, but he said he really found his niche in sales.
"Sales seemed to be the place where I could expand the most. I'm not shy, and I love meeting new people."
