(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Basic lingerie and swimwear company Eberjey has launched a line of panties, bralets and camisoles, titled Bluebird by Eberjey, which is exclusive to select Ann Taylor stores and the retailer’s website as of this month.
Co-founder and creative director Ali Mejia, and president and co-founder Mariela Rovito, named the line for the bluebird because “[it is] a symbol of optimism, happiness and contentment.” Rovito commented; “We saw a need at the specialty store level for a line of everyday panties that are cute yet reasonably priced.”
She added: “Ann Taylor will be our exclusive retail partner for the first season, but there are plans to expand distribution before the year’s end.”
The line currently encompasses the groups Amaya, Isabella and Sienna, retailing for $16 to $28, $18 to $26 and $16 to $36, respectively. The company described Amaya as a flirty set in featherweight mesh and lace, Sienna as “ideal for every day wear,” and constructed from power net and Isabella as made from delicate galloon lace.
Based in Miami, Fl, Eberjey is an intimate apparel and swimwear producer. In addition to its merchandise for women, the company produces products for girls. For further information, call (800) 691-9101 ext. 201.
