Frederick’s of Hollywood Group, Inc. has launched a licensing program for its Frederick’s of Hollywood brand, through which the company said it plans to lend its name to companies worldwide in a variety of product segments. It has hired licensing firm Vault Agency to oversee the program.
“There are numerous product segments in which we believe the Company can successfully license its ‘Frederick’s of Hollywood’ brand, building upon a long history of female customers,” Thomas Lynch, chairman and chief executive officer of Frederick’s of Hollywood Group, Inc, said in a statement. “We are currently in discussions with several potential licensees and will announce any agreements as appropriate. Frederick’s of Hollywood is synonymous with ‘sexy’ around the world and we will ensure that all its licensed products reinforce that image.”
Frederick’s of Hollywood Group, Inc. includes retail and wholesale divisions, and sells its branded apparel through 132 specialty retail stores nationwide. The company also produces intimate apparel under private label programs.
