(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Merry Modes is offering brides more undergarment options than ever this winter. The New Jersey-based designer and producer of U.S.-made bridal and special occasion lingerie and accessories including bras, bra cups, shapewear and crinolines, is introducing panty styles to match its best-selling “Flattering Me” long line strapless bra (style number 728). Mary Grace Dell’Aquila, manager of Merry Modes, expects the company to introduce a thong, hipster, bikini and brief.

According to Dell’Aquila, the company is adding the panties based on customer requests. “A lot of our customers have been asking for panties [to match the 728],” she explained. “We will start with white because that is what most brides want, however, we do expect to expand the color range.”

Style 728 retails for $89 and runs in sizes 32A through 46DD; however, Dell’Aquila emphasized that the company can custom-design “almost any size outside of this range. [We have even] custom-made a 56C.” The patented bra’s uniqueness, she said, lies in its strapless support. “It is the lowest-back strapless bra available on the market,” she said.

“Its unbelievable that [as a strapless style] it can support up to a 56C, and we also offer it in petite sizes. It is also very comfortable; it is not just a one-time wedding style, you can wear it over and over to formal affairs and more.”

In summer 2010, Merry Modes plans to expand the bra’s size range. Although the full size range has not yet been decided, Dell’Aquila expects the company to offer it in up to 56-bandwidth, and up to an F cup. Also in summer 2010, the company will offer the 728, which is available now in white, ivory and nude, in black as part of an effort to enter the lingerie market. Currently, the company has an established presence in the bridal market, and can be found in well-known designer boutiques including Monique Lhuiller; Alfred Angelo; Oscar De La Renta; Kleinfield’s; RK Bridal; and Paloma Blanca.

But Dell'Aquila believes the company’s merchandise would also fit well in a high-end lingerie boutique due to its variety, (in total, Merry Modes produces over 100 styles), its ability to custom-make “almost any size” and its tried-and-true experience as a 62-year-old family-owned business. Bras wholesale from $18.50 to $35.

“Since our products are made in the U.S., we have the unique ability to custom-make styles one at a time,” she said.

“Our slogan is ‘we flatter every body,’ which means we take into consideration both fashion and foundation, and offer quality products at reasonable prices. We reach out to sizes even if they do not make up a major part of the population because no matter who you are, you deserve to feel like a princess.”

Merry Modes range of products includes bustiers; long line bras; control slips; silicone, push-up and tear-drop bra cups; and clear bra straps, among many others.
