(Filed Under wholesale Hosiery News). French brand Gerbe—best known for its women’s hosiery—has added undershirts and men’s styles to its merchandise assortment. Both categories are available for purchase through the company’s website, as well as in Gerbe’s three monobrand boutiques in Paris and Lyon, France. Sizes for both lines run from S through XL.

The undershirt line encompasses six women’s silhouettes consisting of tank tops, T-shirts and long sleeve shirts available in shades of white, black and nude, and retailing for 42.50 to 52.50 Euros, equivalent to $63.74 to $78.74 at the current exchange rate. Intended for winter-wear, the line is made from a blend of Rhovyl fiber and silk offering “a soft-feeling of warmth, a silky handle [and] a combination of extreme softness and sophistication,” the company said.

“Very kind to the skin, not only are these seamless articles designed with a comfortable material, they offer extremely refined finishes and cut-outs. Aimed at elegant-minded customers who want to guard against cold, these warm underwear are the must have for the feminine wardrobe this winter.”

According to Gerbe, the men’s line is designed with the male anatomy in mind; silhouettes include a comfort panel, front opening and knitted waistband for comfort and support. Included are 12 performance enhancing, fashion and insulating knee-high sock and tight styles. Retail prices in the line range from approximately 14 to 45 Euros, (equivalent to about $21 to $68 at the current exchange rate).
