(Filed Under wholesale Men's Underwear News). New men's brand Bumgear made its show debut at this summer's MAGIC in Las Vegas. Set to hit retailers this October including Los Angeles-based Just One LA; Dallas-based Skivvies; San Francisco-based Injeanious; and Undergear.com, among others, the line includes 32 underwear and swimwear styles ranging from 28 to 39 (S-M-L-XL). Retail prices range from $18 to $32.
According to Mike Grider, sales representative of Bumgear, the brand specializes in playful, fun colors including florescent mesh underwear, pouch enhancement features and custom-designed prints. Grider stated: “We have the brightest mesh on the market, and all of our prints are custom-made so you can't find them anywhere else. All of our garments are made with great care and great quality fabrics.”
Under the underwear category, the mesh grouping includes a boxer; jock-strap; thong; brief; and mesh T-shirt in florescent shades of green; aqua; yellow; royal; red; and black. The basics grouping includes a brief and boxer in the equally-vibrant colorways of Lime Punk, Orange Popsicle and Bright Pink. Also included in underwear is the safari grouping, which includes a zebra and giraffe print. Under swimwear, silhouettes include a brief-cut and a mid-cut in a variety of “very bright and vibrant” prints and shades, including the best-selling Ruber Duckies briefs.
Grider added that the market should be on the look-out for “more awesome Bumgear styles” to be launched at February's CurveNY and CurveNV.
Based in Stony Creek, VA, Bumgear was started by designer and owner Edward Upton. For further information, e-mail Sales@Bumgear.com.
