(Filed Under wholesale Sleepwear News). Fashion Option has announced a licensing agreement with New York-based company Direct Resourcing for the production of a women's sleepwear and loungewear in the U.S for its Beverly Hills Polo Club brand.
Set to hit the market in November, the women's sleepwear and loungewear collection will feature preppy professional styling with an urban edge. The initial launch will feature two groups: Classic, which takes a more traditional approach to the brand through the use of plaids and traditional silhouettes, and Rodeo, which is brighter and glitzier, yet still sophisticated. Each group will include pajama and sleepwear sets, night shirts and chemises.
Fran Masters, a consultant to Direct Resourcing added that details-such as roll over waistbands emblazoned with the company logo and the addition of a new poly rayon fabric-will help set the brand apart from other sleepwear lines. "Our customer has enough of an urban touch that she will want it to be a little different," said Masters. "The little treatments and little touches are what make this brand different."
Direct Resourcing has been a manufacturer of men's and women's sportswear for over 20 years. This agreement with Fashion Option marks the company's first foray into producing and selling its own brand.
